Diane Stein has been the Director of Patient Outreach and Education for the World Trade Center Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program at Mt. Sinai Hospital, since the program began as a screening program in July 2002. Ms. Stein's background as an occupational safety and health advocate spans more than two decades. She is part of the team that works to ensure that the Monitoring and Treatment Program meets the varied needs of responders, including the provision of medical, mental health, social work, and benefits counseling services.
The Program has seen more than 20,000 WTC responders since its inception.
